Pattern: Monkey by Cookie A.
Needles: 2.5 mm Knit Picks
Yarn: BMFA Socks that Rock Lightweight in Fluorite
I love, love, love this pattern. It is easy to understand, just challenging enough to be fun without a lot of frustration and it looks very fancy and full of cables and lace. It is also very comfortable.
I finished the sock this weekend in San Fransisco while spending time with my dad and uncle. Here is the view from the back patio. Aaah, I love San Fransisco!
Since one monkey was off my back, I decided to start on another project before the deadline became impossible. I promised to make a lace scarf for a silent auction item for our local Elementary School Art program fundraiser. I pulled out Barbara Walker's Treasury of Stitches and some soft locally produced alpaca from the stash and got going.
