My mom and brother just visited us for a week. It was fun to have them here for so long. My mom took this photo of my brother Nate and I and the dogs on the front porch.
We don't normally spend a lot of time on the front porch as it is in need of some...ahem.. serious repair.
My brother thought it was charming and was spending a lot of time out front people watching with my dogs for company.
I am still experimenting with all the fun settings on my new camera and thought this setting would give this photo a very Dorothea Lange look.
By the way, according to Jeff Foxworthy, "if your porch collapses and injures more than two dogs you might be a redneck". We may have cause for concern illustrated here.

Ooh, I love that effect. I want a new camera!!
And that is a whole lot of dog -- Pedro's so big!
Great photo! I'm jealous of time to just sit on a porch and knit and watch people go by...
Ohhh!!! Love, love, love the photo...do tell...what kind of camera do you have now??? I'm kinda looking for a new one, too!!
I got the camera at Costco before we went to Joseph. It is a Digital Elph (Canon) I really like it. I can e-mail you the model # .My mom has the exact same camera. The image stabilization must be very good, I get a lot less blurry yarn photos than I used to ;)
That picture is really crisp! Gorgeous!! hmmm....ok so back to knitting projects and Brooklyntweed...the lacy blanket he knit...It is stunningly gorgeous. I can't wait to follow in your footsteps on that one!!!
